These are very cute! I love how the birds are parallel to each other on the tree branch.

Near the city of Auckland, NZ is a gannet colony at Muriwai Beach.  It is probably the most accessible colony of its type in the world, being only about 400m from a car park and about 1km from an excellent cafe.

At the moment (being spring) the gannets are engaged in nest building an mating.  I visited to check out the action and renew my relationship with the Canon 7DII and 100-400MkII+1.4MkIII extender.

This first image is the full-frame image: reduced in resoltion to fit within the 5MB limit

Hi Tronhard!  I am new here. I really like how the colors and contrast pop right out at me in this shot. Well done! 😄

Cape May Warbler - at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area - 2019/05/12

7D Mk II with EF 100-400mm L IS II and 1.4X III. 264mm, 1/800, f/7.1, ISO 2500

Note: dreary overcast day, I should have taken the 1.4X III TC off, as Warblers were close to the boardwalk and it wasn't needed and it would have helped with the ISO.
