Hello,
I just received a replacement Pixma Pro-100 (my first printed all images 1/8 inch to the left-- strange). Unlike my first printer, I simply cannot get the print head into place. Each time I slide it in, I'm unable to close the print head lock lever. I go back to the first printer (I haven't shipped it back yet) and am able to easily reinstall its print head. I'm stumped.
1) Does anyone have any suggestions for installing this, or reasons why it might not be sitting correctly? I fear I will damage the print head if I keep trying to get it to sit correctly.
2) Do you have suggestions on how to store an open print head? Since it cannot sit in the printer, I will need to store safely until Canon customer service opens Monday.
Thank you,
Amanda
