why my ink die when I don't use it?

[ Edited ]

Ink cartridges seem to die based on time, and I'm talking months not years, rather than use.  Do I owe Cannon rent?  Do I owe you taxes?  Have you ever done a fix for this?  You think I'll pay $75 for another set of tanks?

Hi bobaroo

When you indicate the ink tanks seem to die based on time, please let us know what exactly is occuring?  Are you receiving a specfic error etc.  What is occuring that indicates an issue with the inks etc.

Note: If you running a Windows Operating system, You can confirm the status of each ink tank on the printer status monitor.  Click HERE for these insturctions.
