I've installed driver and software on vista and win 7 machines and I didn't have any problem. I can easily access my MX432's scanner with the navigator. However on a new win 8 machine I can't use my printer's installation CD because it says the driver is already installed and somebody or something is using it, even when I removed the printer from the printers list. I downloaded a copy of the navigator software from canon's website. It let me install it but when I tried to run it I got the error msg. that the navigator can't be started.
