Printable disc tray missing from original package

Hello!  I just purchased, set up, and registered a Pixma MX922 printer.  Everything seems to be going ewl, EXCEPT for two things:  1) The printable disc tray that was supposed to be supplied with the printer WAS NOT INCLUDED; and 2) I cannot determine how to open the upper paper cassette where the printable disc tray is supposed to be mounted when in use.  The User Guide's directions do not go into sufficient detail on this point!  HELP!!
