Print on glossy photo paper appears faded on MX477 (wireless printing)

I was trying to print a photo on some generic glossy photo paper using the MX477 printer, via the Android Canon Print mobile app.

I have tried different paper settings , including "photo paper" , "glossy photo paper " and "photo paper plus gloss II". All resulting prints appear faded, with blacks appear less saturated in color. there is no print quality setting on the app.

Printing on normal paper has no issue.

Is there a solution to this problem ? Thank you.
