MG6350 misalignment problem for PGBK cartridge

JohanVSF

The black cartridge (PGBK) won't print corectly though I've adjusted the print heads meticulously. The problem remained even after I changed the cartridge for a new one and both cleaned and deep cleaned it.

Is this a hardware problem which require service or is it something that I can fix myself?

Attaching sheet #1 from the manual print head adjustment routine and a also the Nozzle Check Pattern.

Notice the distorted pattern on the Nozzle Check Pattern.

I have the same problem with my MG7120.  Nothing except NOT using the PGBK cartridge has worked (switching paper type to high-resolution paper or matte photo).  This is super slow, wasteful, and worse text quality.

Apparently its a printerhead fault that canon is refusing to acknowledge and fix.  They say we're supposed to try and get a refund from where we purchased the printer.  Yeah right.
