My computer will not print. I followed the directions on the CD provided. It says that my printer is offline.

I have a Canon Pixma MG 2522. The issue i'm having is, No matter how I set-up the page to print, the printer isn'e finishing the job before it spits the page out. It is cutting off the last line. I've tried everything I can think  of that could be the issue and nothing fixes the problem. Starting to think I bought the wrong printer al-together. Hope you can help, so I can save my money. Thanks.
