I am trying to format my sdhc memory card for my Canon A2300. I put my sdhc memory card in my camera, make sure the door is closed. Then I go to tools and stroll down to try to select "Format" but the format option can't be selected, it is ghost out. Have anybody had this problem? If anybody know how to turn the format option on , please help!
I've never seen that complaint but it sounds like the camera doesn't recognize the card. If you have a memory card reader try formatting with a computer using the FAT 32 file system. Also verify from your manual that the camera can recognize the type & size of card you've bought. (IE some can only recognize 32 gigs and nothing larger)
