unable to complete print head alignment after set upPIXMA PRO 100

I had difficulty getting my new printer recognized. Once that was complete I was unable to get back to the print head alignment step. After reading the 2013 directions I got "cleaning" as an option, not head alignment. Currently running El Capitan verson 10.11.3

Hello.

 

Try performing the alingment on plain paper to see if this will help.  If a glossy media was used, this can affect the alignment process.
