Printer Printing Blank Pages - Please Help!

graywhale

All of a sudden my Canon (S820) printer has been sending out blank pages - it sounds like it is printing (sounds normal) but the pages come out blank.  I check the ink cartridge (just put a new one in).  Downloaded updated drivers from Canon and also reset to default as well as reset printing system.  And also ran deep cleaning. Turn it off, left it off for awhile, turned it back on.  Also turned off my computer and restarted.  Won't even print a test page - it sounds like it is printing, but only blank pages come out.   Printing from a Mac (10.9.2) Any other suggestions?

It printed fine yesterday but today, blank pages.  Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks.

Hi greywhale!

The Bubble Jet S820 is not supported on the Mac 10.9.2 operating system. Also it is "Out of Service Life" and we no longer have the parts to repair it. If you wanted to consider it, you are eligible for the Canon Loyalty Program.  This program is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or incompatible with a new or upgraded system.  This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

To help you get up and running quickly, we also offer free UPS ground shipping.  If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (800) OK CANON (800-652-2666) seven days a week, 8am to Midnight.  Let them know that the Canon Loyalty Program was offered.

Funny thing is - the printer was working with this operating system until yesterday!  Please let me know more about the Canon Loyalty program - how can I participate?  Thanks.
