Laptop not recognizing USB connection

My printer will not connect to my laptop via USB I tried printing from a different laptop and it worked perfectly fine. How do I delete and redownload my printer so it recognizes it? Or is there another solution I am missing?

I am running on windows 10 and the printer is a pixma 3620

Hi Saywhat513,

Thanks for that information.  The most current drivers are available for download from the Canon website.

  1. Disconnect the USB cable.
  2. Click HERE.

  3. Scroll down to "Optional Drivers."

  4. Click “Select” next to "MG3600 series MP Drivers."

  5. Press "Download."

  6. Open and run the file.

  7. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

The installation program will prompt you when to reconnect the USB cable.
