I have a MG 5520 and when I try to scan it tells me "Set the PC to start scanning" please help

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know what Computer Operating System you're using. (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x)

I'm having a similar problem with scanning on an MG5520. The MG5520 is set up wirelessly and their are two laptops on our network.  There were two names in the dialogue box, now only one. I'm trying to scan to my pc, but my name/identity has disappeared.

All other functions work, printing, copying.

Both laptops are on windows 10 and we use firefox's browser.

The manual for this device does not address this isssue.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
