Red ink not printing correctly even with new cartridge in Canon Pixma MX850 printer

My red ink cartridge didn't seem to be putting out any ink, so I changed it out with a new cartridge. I have tried the cleaning options numerous times with no result. I get lines across and spaces that should be covered. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Hi kevinh1,

 

If you have performed at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer as well as have replaced the magenta ink tank and the colors are still not printing correctly, the printer will require servicing to resolve the problem.  Please click on the Contact Us link below to obtain your servicing options.
