    Hello All:

 

    My printer is Canon imageCLASS MF4350d, it was bought years-ago. At that time, I was using wXP and the printer

was easily installed with attached CD and have been using very good for years.

 

    After installation, the printer can also do MF-Toolbox, Scan..., and Printing.

 

   Now I bought a HP laptop with w10. One specialist of this forum helped me to use CANON web page "Drivers & Downloads" to install this printer into w10.

 

   The  "Drivers & Downloads" page of CANON has two parts:

 

         [Windows 64bit] imageCLASS MF4350d MFDrivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear) 10/07/16   19.51 MB  SELECT


         [Windows 64-bit] Patch for Network Scan, USB Scan (Windows 8/8.1/10)         10/07/16   4.09 MB   SELECT 

 

    After press each select button, you can download the software and install it.

 

    I followed the instructions step by step given me, BUT finally only installed the printer function in my w10 pc. 

 

    Now, I do be able to print with this w10 pc, but no function of Canon MF-Toolbox, such as scanner.

Hello Zhao,

 

You can download the MF Toolbox from the Software section on our web site(see steps below).

 

 1.  Click HERE to go to the Drivers & Downloads page for your MF4350d.

 2.  The Drivers & Downloads page will open for the selected model.

 Note: This page automatically detects your computer's operating system so that only the compatible drivers and software will be available for download.

 3.  Click on Software to view the section. 

 4.  Click on SELECT next to [Windows 32bit & 64bit] Tool Box Ver.4.9.1.1.mf18 to download the scanning software.

 5.  After clicking on the SELECT button next the file name, click on DOWNLOAD to save the file to your computer.

 6.  Once the download is complete, double-click the file from its download location to decompress them.  A new folder will be created in the same folder.  The new folder will have the same name as the compressed file. (When you select [RUN], it unpacks the setup folder.)

 7.  If the Setup Wizard doesn't start automatically, open your Downloads (or Documents) folder.

     (1) You will see two icons with the name: ToolBox_4911mf18_Win_EN.  Double-click on the yellow folder icon with this name.

     (2) In the folder you will see two listings for Setup.  Double-click on the Setup that has the type as "Application".

 8.  Once complete, restart your computer.

  To some reason, I need to re-install the Canon imageCLASS MF4350d into my w10.

 

  This time, the results are: can print articles, the "Canon MF Toolbox 4.9" appeared on the screen.  

BUT I did not see  the "Canon MF 4320-4350" appeared on: "start > setting > Devices > Printer & Scanners"

as it previously did!

 

  But it can print!   Does it  matter?                  -- Zhao

Hello Zhao,

 

If you can print and scan, then the drivers and software are installed correctly.  It doesn't matter.
