MF6595 MF toolbox will not scan

So we have a user who is getting an error message when trying to scan from the MF toolbox.  The error is "Cannot open the scanner.  The Scanner is not acive or in use by another application"  I have tried the following things.

 

Uninstalled the drivers and MF toolbox and reinstalled both from drivers/downloads on the canon website.

Turned off all non-microsoft services and startup items.

Rebooted the PC multiple times.

Scanning from the windows utility does work, but the MF toolbox does not, even though it was working a few days ago.  

MFP has been turned on and off as well

 

User setup:

MF6595 MFP hooked up via USB

Windows 7 X64

Never mind, i figured it out, we where missing a PATH environmental variable pointing to C:\Windows\twain_32\PrinterModel
