can I use my lenses from AE1 in the EOS cameras

Yes and no.  Or should I say, no and yes? 😉  FD lenses are not compatible with the eos mount, but if your lenses are nice enough it might be worth investing in an adapter from Ed Mika :http://www.ebay.com/sch/ed_mika/m.html

He makes adapters for most of the old FD lenses.  I have one for my FD 600 f/4.5 and FD 300 f/2.8.  You can visit his photostream here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ontarian/

Sorry to bother you with another question but I have a 35-70 and a70-200w macro do you know what I will lose from the EOS with  the adaptor  and using the FD lens's.

Canon FD lenses are not directly compatible with the EOS Digital SLR cameras.  We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you. 

If you are using Canon EF lenses then there is a 1.6x Conversion Factory with APS-C type cameras such as the EOS Digital Rebel Series and models like the EOS 60D.  Full frame cameras like the EOS 5D Mark III use EF lenses at their marked focal length.

You would need to meter by manually stopping down the aperture (the viewfinder will get dark and harder to focus), and of course there would be no auto-focus.
