My name is Tony. I have been a Canon guy since I bought the 10D when it first came out. Since then, I have owned a 7D; a 5D i; 5D ii; 5Diii and currently own the iv. I teach composition; teach Photoshop; lead photo workshop trips and sell B2B: wall art and jumbo panos to buildings. My next big workshop trip is to North Dakota this fall.
I have a question on my 5Div. My cable remote stopped working two weeks ago. It works on another body but not the iv. The connection port is clean. Could some new camera setting have stopped it from functioning?

you lost the use of your arm and leg from a stroke? is that what you said? How do you take photos with one hand? Can I see some of your work? Good for you to find a hobby that sparks your interest, and not let your disease or injuries get you down. I have a few limitations myself and photography is a great way to get outside yourself. Nice to meet you, this is a good site to gather good info, allot of pro's on here that know what they're doing.

I am very new to this and also new to photography. My name is Sharin and am from Vanuatu! I have just started doing photography this year but just doing basic stuff using Canon Rebel T5. However, in the last few months i was busy with work and didnt do much and just recently i thought to use the camera again but notice the images were blur and not focused at all.
Can someone help? i don't know what to do.. all i did was clean the lenses haha..
Sharin or Smiley!

My name is Liz, live on the west coast, and I am also fairly new to this, I've had my rebel SL1 for about a year now, and still learning. IMHO, the FIRSt thing you should review (and review again and again) is your settings and the menu in the camera. Check your focus settings and change it to one of the auto focus settings, see if that turns it back on.. Also, check your lens, be sure its also turned on. If nothing works, try re-setting it to the factory re-set, it wont change your time/date or any of that. Let us know if t hat works. Best of luck, I hope that solves the issue. Sometimes when there is low light, the AF doesnt work b/c it cant see what to focus on, so have to go to M.
