So i was bought a Canon eos 1100D and now I'm stuck because there's no Mic input on it, so does anyone know of a microphone compatible in any way or an alternative option?

EOS 1100d is the same as the Rebel T3 from Canon Docs....

Sorry, the Canon XS/1000D and T3/1100D are both stripped down entry level models, and there is no way to add any kind of an external microphone. The T1i also did not have a microphone jack, but later models do.

If you are handy with electronics you could open up the camera and install a microphone jack yourself.

Another option is to buy an external audio recorder for about $100 and then add the soundtrack to your video afterwards.
