Replace "dot" with a "." in the link above.

Nope.  You’re not going to find it here, and not on YouTube.  What is “it”?  It is called experience.  There is no substitute for long hours of practice and experience.

Read the instruction manual’s basic shooting modes.  Get out and shoot some stills.  Read the the instruction manual, cover to cover.  Get out and shoot some more stills.  Compare the results.  Repeat.

Take a photography class.  If you are not familiar with the “ Exposure Triangle “ and “ Depth Of Field “, then do a web search on the topics.  Read the articles, and get out shoot some photos.

Every photographer finds a “training ground”.  It is usually some location, usually outdoors, and usually very close to home.  It is where they take pictures of the same things, over and over.  They take photos under different light conditions, with different lenses, with and without a tripod, with different exposure settings, etc.  If you do not have a place like that, then go find one.

Re: Canon 5D Mark III Beginner question

If you’re wondering why I am talking about shooting stills, when you asked about shooting video, it is because you cannot master shooting video until you can master shooting stills.
