5d mk iv with 70-200

I have a 5d mk iv and a 70-200 lens. When I try to take a photo, the shutter won't work and the lens will not focus. It basically won't do anything. It only happens sometimes. If I take the lens off and put it back on, it will usually work again. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have sent an email to canon.
When the button stops working, I have changed it to [A] mode and it still does nothing. The only thing that seems to help is it if I shut it off take the battery out.
I'm going to check my button programming.

It isn't BBF or any other button.

You need to need to call Canon.  They will ask you some questions.

Thank you for your help. I will call canon. I tried to use the camera tonight, the shutter continuously stopped working. There is definitely something wrong. I've only had the camera a month.

It is covered by warranty.  Smiley Happy

Thanks for your help! Canon said there is definitely something wrong, I've already exchanged it at the store and have a new one.
