I am using full Automatic mode and have the AF points to focus on all 9 points.

The pictures are fine.  I am wondering with the camera in this mode am I susposed to see all of the dots in the viewfinder, or are they displayed so fast that I don't see them when a picture is taken.

Thank You

Generally you won't have all of the points light up at once, just the ones the camera is trying to use at that time. Personally, I wouldn't use the auto selected AF point mode. It can be a sort of AF lottery, hoping that the camera chooses to focus on what you what it to. Better to pick the focus point yourself and compose the shot accordingly.

Can you even choose focus points when you're in the full auto mode?
what model camera is it?
