PIXMA TS3322 not turning on after extracting a pen from inside

I noticed this post is fairly new. Today (2/2/24) I tried endlessly to get my printer to print with no luck at all. After doing this for about 47 minutes I noticed something stuck inside the printer which was a pen. It must have been one of my little nephews who stuck it in there? I had to open the printer up to force the pen out, in which I was able to remove. The problem was that the printer would not turn on at all. I tried multiple plugs and no luck whatsoever. What do I do now?

Greetings,

Sorry to hear about your printer issue.  If it's not turning on, there isn't much you can do.  Remove any obstructions, ensure all doors / compartments are closed securely.  If that doesn't work, it might be time to start looking at a new printer.  Given its cost new, repair might exceed replacement.  I might look into the Canon Upgrade Program.  It usually covers products which are EOL or are not longer supported.  You might get some goodwill for a death by child.  Give them a call and let them know what happened.
