I also purchased a PIXMA MX722 wireless printer, but have no WPS button on my WiFi Access router. If I hook up via cable will the WiFi become enabled?

Hello,
You are exactly right! If your router does not have a WPS button, then you would need to perform the wireless setup manually using a USB cable. What this does is allow your printer to download the network settings through the USB cable. There is no need to worry, once the setup is complete, you can use your printer wirelessly!

Julius, I connected this computer to the PIXMA MX722 wireless printer via cable and set up the printer to work on the cable. However it does not work wirelessly. It prints via cable with no problem. What am I missing? Who can help me set the printer to work via wireless?
I also have a desktop that is XP Prfessional OS. Can I also set this computer to work wirelessly? If so How?

Hello DGMJD,
It sounds like you selected USB Setup during the installation, for more detailed instructions on how to perform the Wireless Setup click HERE. Once the printer is setup on the network all you have to do is install the software on the additional computer.
