Canon GP-E2 shoe broken

Hi,

Anyone have the canon gps receiver break in this manner. CPS will not repair it. I took it apart and have no idea how to secure the inverted screws into the shoe again. Just loosened over time. Hate to buy a new one over what seems like an obvious issue to fix. It works perfectly fine otherwise. Thanks.

I would say take apart the whole thing and tighten the screws from the top.
